Orange Date Crescent Claws - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. grated orange peel
2 Tbsp. melted margarine
1/2 c. chopped dates
8 oz. can refrigerated crescent rolls

Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a small bowl combine nuts, sugar and orange peel well.
Reserve 1/4 cup for topping.
Stir dates into remaining mixture.
Set aside.
