Glazed Ginger Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. carrots, sliced
    1/4 c. butter
    1/3 c. maple syrup or brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 tsp. grated orange peel (optional)
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cook carrots in boiling water until tender (about 15 minutes). Drain.
    Add butter, syrup or brown sugar, ginger, orange peel and salt.
    Cook over low heat, stirring often, until hot.
    Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
    Serves 4.
