Party Cheese Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. grated cheddar cheese
    8 oz. softened cream cheese
    1/2 medium onion, minced
    2 Tbsp. dried chives or 3 Tbsp. fresh, chopped fine
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1 c. nuts, well chopped
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients (except for the nuts) and form a ball.
    Roll the ball in the nuts until evenly coated.
    Chill until serving time.
    Serve with crackers or garlic toast.
    The cheese ball is pretty when rolled in 1/2 c. fresh parsley mixed with the nuts.
