Sour Cream Smothered Chicken Livers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chicken livers
    1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 large onions, sliced thin into rings
    1 tsp. lemon pepper
    1 tsp. parsley, finely chopped
    1/2 c. hot water
    1 c. sour cream
    toasted bread points
Preparation
    Pray.
    Roll liver in flour and salt.
    Cook over medium heat until evenly browned on all sides.
    Add onions and stir constantly.
    When well-browned, drain off excess oil.
    Add lemon pepper, parsley and hot water.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Add sour cream and heat thoroughly.
    Serve immediately over bread points.
    Makes 4 servings.
