Hawaiian Chicken - cooking recipe

1 (8 oz.) can pineapple chunks
2 lb. chicken parts
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 can chicken broth
1/4 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 medium green pepper, cut in squares
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Drain pineapple but save syrup.
In a skillet brown chicken parts in shortening; pour off fat.
