Rock Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. corn syrup
3/4 c. water
2 c. sugar
1/2 bottle extract
food coloring (few drops)
Preparation

Bring first 3 ingredients
to a boil in a 3-quart heavy pot to 305\u00b0.
Remove from heat and add food coloring and 1/2 bottle of extract (any flavor).
Mix well.
Pour into sprayed long cake pan.
Cut with scissors into small pieces and drop them into powdered sugar.
Let cool before placing into bag or jar for storage.
