Mama'S Old-Timey Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix flour and milk in saucepan and cook until thick.
    Cover and refrigerate.
    In a mixing bowl, beat the shortening, sugar, vanilla and margarine until it gets thick and creamy.
    Add chilled milk and flour that you refrigerated earlier and whip for about 8 to 10 minutes.
    Spread over cooled cake.
