Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 1/2 c. coconut
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put milk in double boiler.
    Separate egg yolks from whites. Whip yolks and add flour.
    Mix well and add to milk along with sugar, salt and coconut.
    Let cook until done; stir in flavoring. Beat egg whites until frothy, then add three tablespoons of sugar, stirring well.
    Spread evenly over your pie.
    Sprinkle coconut over the top and put in oven to brown.
