German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 cooked potatoes
    4 Tbsp. vinegar
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. bacon fat
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 onion, chopped
    6 slices fried bacon, diced
Preparation
    Cut warm, cooked potatoes in cubes.
    Set aside.
    Cook diced bacon until crisp.
    Drain, but save 1 tablespoon fat.
    Cook onion in this.
    When onion is tender, add the paste (water, vinegar, sugar, flour and salt) and cook until this is thick.
    Add drained bacon and pour over potatoes.
    Toss to coat.
    Serve warm.
