Shirley'S Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 (20 oz.) cans whole tomatoes, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
    1 Tbsp. oil (for cooking water)
    3 c. Swiss cheese, cut up
    1 (24 oz.) carton cottage cheese (whole curd)
Preparation
    Brown beef and garlic; add tomato paste, tomatoes and spices and simmer for 20 minutes.
    Cook the lasagna noodles, adding one tablespoon of oil to the water.
    When cooked, drain the lasagna. Layer in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan, starting with the sauce and ending with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Let sit for 15 minutes before serving.
