Stewed Carrots And Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium carrots, sliced
    2 tart apples, sliced
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    water (to cover)
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Place carrots in medium saucepan; cover with water.
    Boil until just tender (about 10 minutes).
    Add apples, sugar and cinnamon; boil until apples are soft (5 to 10 minutes).
    Mix cornstarch and 1/2 cup water.
    Slowly add to pan until sauce is thickened.
