Patta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger meat
    onion
    green pepper
    garlic
    tomato sauce
    2 c. sifted flour
    touch of salt
    3 Tbsp. Crisco
    touch of sugar
    touch of baking powder
Preparation
    Chop fine and saute onion, green pepper, garlic, tomato sauce and hamburger meat; drain very good (if you fry).
    Mix flour, salt, Crisco, sugar and baking powder with 1/2 cup ice water (spoon and fork); knead it out and cut into little balls.
    Flatten out; put meat mixture in center of dough pieces.
    Fold over dough and press to seal edges.
    Deep fry.
