1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. powdered sugar
3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. oil
1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 egg
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Yellow decorator sugar
Preparation

In large bowl, beat sugar, powdered sugar, butter and oil until light and fluffy.
Add lemon peel, lemon juice and egg; blend well.
Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate 1 hour for easier handling.
