Old-Fashioned Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 beef flavor bouillon cubes or 2 tsp. instant beef bouillon
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. thyme (optional)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. allspice
    1 bay leaf
    2 c. cubed, peeled potatoes
    1 c. sliced celery
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (16 oz.) can recipe ready tomatoes, undrained
    1 (12 oz.) can corn, undrained
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together. Cover with 4 cups water.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover with lid and simmer for about 1 hour.
    I usually double this recipe.
