Sponge Cake With 7 Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs (at least 3/4 c. whites and 1/3 c. yolks)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. cold water
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Separate eggs.
    Beat yolks until thick and lemon color. Gradually beat in sugar and part of water, flavoring and flour, then remaining water.
    Beat egg whites with baking powder and salt until they hold a point, then fold in yolk mixture.
    Bake in ungreased tube center pan at 325\u00b0 for 60 to 65 minutes.
