Real Baked Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. ham
    cider (to cover)
    20 whole cloves
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. mustard
Preparation
    Cover the ham with cold water and bring slowly to boil; throw out the water.
    Replace with cider to cover ham.
    Bring to boil over low heat; keep it barely simmering 20 minutes per pound. Skin it and score fat in a diamond pattern; stud with whole cloves.
    Mix the mustard and brown sugar; rub well into ham.
    Bake another 10 minutes in a 400\u00b0 oven.
