Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 small can creamed corn
    2/3 c. Wesson oil
    2 eggs
    pinch of baking soda
    1/2 jalapeno pepper or to taste, chopped
    shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal, flour, creamed corn, Wesson oil, eggs, baking soda and jalapeno in large mixing bowl.
    Mix well.
    Pour 1/2 cornbread mixture into an 8-inch skillet.
    Cover mixture with shredded cheese.
    Pour remaining mixture on top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
