Caramel Pie(One Very Large Pie Or Two Small Ones) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. flour
    4 eggs
    1 stick butter
    2 c. milk
    1 c. caramelized sugar
Preparation
    Mix flour and 1 cup sugar; add milk and egg yolks.
    Mix well. Add butter and cook in heavy saucepan, stirring constantly.
    When thick, add caramelized sugar to hot custard.
    (Caramelize sugar by melting in heavy aluminum pan and stirring until light brown.) Cook until very thick.
    Cool and pour into baked pastry shell. Cover with meringue and brown in slow oven.
