Martha Washington Colonial Chocolate(Usa) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 c. water
    2 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    a little water
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    In a saucepan mix cocoa and cold water into a smooth paste. Stir in 2 cups water, sugar and milk.
    Bring to a boil and blend in the cornstarch dissolved in a little cold milk.
    Boil 3 minutes longer.
    Remove from heat and set in a warm place.
    Beat until light and foamy the egg and hot water.
    Pour half of the egg mixture into a pitcher.
    Blend in hot chocolate slowly.
    Pour remaining egg mixture over top.
    Serve at once.
    Makes 6 servings.
