Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 1/4 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Alternately add flour and milk with vanilla added.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
