*Strawberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
2/3 c. milk
2 1/2 c. flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 c. strawberry preserves

Preparation

Cream butter; add sugar and cream well.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each is added.
Alternate sifted dry ingredients with the milk.
Add preserves.
Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
