Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. mashed strawberries
    5 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix berries with sugar. Cook rapidly until thick (about 20 minutes). Add lemon juice a few minutes before cooking is complete. Pour into sterilized Kerr jars to within 1/4-inch of top. Put on cap. Screw band firmly tight. Process in boiling water bath 10 minutes. Yield: 5 (8 ounce) jars.
