Cream Of Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium potatoes (peeled and diced)
    2 ribs celery, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small carrot, chopped (optional)
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. salt or to taste
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    water
    1/4 c. half and half or coffee cream
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Place all vegetables, butter and seasoning in heavy saucepan. Add just enough water to barely cover vegetables. Cover and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and cook until vegetables are very tender.
