Anna Maude'S Currant Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. apple cider
    3/4 c. Port wine
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1 1/2 Tbsp. Triple Sec
    2 tsp. finely grated orange rind
    1/2 c. currants
    1 stick cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Blend the cornstarch with 1/2 cup apple cider until smooth. Pour into a small saucepan.
    Add all remaining ingredients, except butter and salt.
    Heat, stirring constantly, over moderate heat. Bring to a boil; cook until thickened and clear and no raw taste remains.
    Add butter and salt.
