Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3 level tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    grated rind and juice of 1 orange or use 1/2 c. orange juice instead
    3 Tbsp. shortening, dissolved in 1 c. boiling water
    1 c. cranberries
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together first 5 ingredients.
    Add rest of ingredients. Mix well and put in well-greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour (very small pans for 45 minutes).
