Neiman-Marcus Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter, softened
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. brown sugar
    4 c. flour
    5 c. oatmeal, measured, then pulverized in blender
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    4 c. chocolate chips
    8 oz. chocolate bar, shredded
    3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    In a large bowl (I use a soup pot), cream the butter and sugars.
    Add eggs and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
    Add flour, oatmeal, salt, soda and baking powder.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add the chocolate, chocolate chips and nuts.
    Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    This makes a lot (15 to 20 dozen.)
