French Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. vanilla wafers, crushed
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. drained crushed pineapple
    1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Cream butter and powdered sugar.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    In a well-greased pan, put a layer of vanilla wafer crumbs, a layer of butter mixture, a layer of fruit and nuts, then a layer of whipped cream.
    Repeat layers of each.
    Sprinkle chopped nuts on top. Chill.
