Crescent Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. warm water (not hot, 110~ to 115~)
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. softened shortening (part butter)
    4 c. Gold Medal flour
Preparation
    Add yeast to warm water, stirring to dissolve.
    Stir in sugar, salt, eggs and shortening.
    Add half of flour.
    Add remaining flour and mix until smooth.
    Scrape dough from sides of bowl and cover with damp cloth.
    Let rise until double (about 1 1/2 hours).
