Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. hot water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook and stir sugar, corn syrup, water and salt until mixture comes to boil.
    Cook to 250\u00b0 without stirring.
    Remove from heat. Set aside.
    Immediately beat egg whites until stiff.
    Pour hot syrup slowly over egg whites, beating constantly at high speed, about 5 minutes.
    Add vanilla and beat until mixture forms soft peaks and begins to lose gloss.
    Add chopped nuts.
    Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
