Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. soda
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
10 Tbsp. cocoa
2 c. thick sour cream
4 eggs
Preparation

Sift together all dry ingredients; add to cream.
Beat in mixer two to three minutes.
Add whole eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
Pour batter into two 9-inch layer pans plus an 11 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch pan or two 13 x 9 x 2 1/2-inch pans.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Ice as soon as cool.
