Adobo Manook At Baboy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless pork
    1 c. light vinegar
    1 Tbsp. cracked pepper
    1 bay leaf
    3 garlic cloves, pressed or minced
    3 lb. fryer chicken, cut up in 2-inch pieces
    3 Tbsp. lard or oil
    1 1/2 c. coconut milk
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Combine the pork (baboy), vinegar, pepper, garlic and bay leaf.
    Add the water.
    Cover the pot and simmer for about 1 hour. Put the chicken (manook) in the pot and cook until tender.
    Remove all meat pieces from the pot and drain them.
    Brown the meat in grease or oil and then return it to the pot.
    Add the coconut milk and simmer for 5 to 6 minutes before serving.
