Better-Than-Ever-Apple-Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 cooking apples, pared, cored and diced
3/4 to 1 c. granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 canned pear halves, drained and crushed
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0. Line 9-inch pie plate with bottom pastry crust.
Roll out top crust.
Combine apples, sugar, flour and cinnamon.
Arrange pears in 9-inch pie plate.
Top with apple mixture; dot with butter.
Adjust top crust.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until filling is tender and crust nicely browned. Serve warm or cold.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
