Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cornmeal
    1 (8 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1 c. milk
    1 small onion
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2/3 c. oil
    2 eggs
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    11/4 tsp. salt
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
    1 1/2 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well, except cheese.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture into well-greased skillet.
    Spread the cheese over this evenly. Add remaining mixture over cheese.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
