Apple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. oil
    3 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    vanilla extract
    3 large apples, chopped
    1 c. pecans
    1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Combine oil, sugar and eggs in mixer bowl.
    Beat at medium speed for 3 minutes.
    Blend in flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and 2 teaspoons vanilla.
    Fold in apples and pecans.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool for 20 minutes before removing from pan.
    Combine brown sugar, butter and 4 tablespoons vanilla in saucepan.
    Boil for 2 minutes.
    Pour over cake while hot.
