Divinity Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. water
    4 egg whites, beaten stiff
    2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Bring sugar, syrup and water to a boil, stirring often.
    Cook until syrup forms a hard ball in a cup of cold water.
    When hard ball stage is reached, pour over beaten egg whites.
    Stir until warm.
    Add chopped nuts of your choice.
    Beat until cool enough to drop on wax paper or greased cookie sheet.
