Hard Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. light syrup (Karo)
    1/2 tsp. flavoring (any flavoring you like)
    1 or 2 drops food coloring
Preparation
    Cook sugar, water and syrup to 300\u00b0.
    Remove from heat and add the flavoring and food coloring.
    Pour onto a greased pan.
    Let stand until cool and break into pieces.
