Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
    1 1/2 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
    1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/3 c. dark corn syrup
    1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Place mashed sweet potatoes in a mixing bowl; add sugar, syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.
    Beat until well blended.
    Add eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla; beat until well blended.
    Pour into shell and bake 10 minutes.
    Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0 and continue baking 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
    Cool on wire rack.
