Minnesota Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 heaping c. cucumbers, sliced
    1 or 2 medium onions, sliced
    1 or 2 green peppers, chopped
    1 heaping Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Place cucumbers, onions and peppers
    in large bowl and sprinkle salt over all.
    Cover and let stand in refrigerator for approximately 3 hours.
    Stir occasionally.
    Drain completely.
    Add sugar and vinegar.
    Stir and let stand at room temperature until dissolved.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Keeps indefinitely.
