Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 large onion, diced
    1 c. mayonnaise
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 lb. Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese, grated
    10 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
    1 c. chopped broccoli (1 pkg. frozen, defrosted, not cooked)
Preparation
    Layer all ingredients in order as they are listed.
    Store overnight in refrigerator.
    Do not mix or toss before serving.
