Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (1/4-inch) slices salt pork
    1 lb. ground beef or use beef and pork
    1 c. bread crumbs (soft)
    1 egg
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    2 to 3 Tbsp. flour for gravy
Preparation
    Finely dice salt pork.
    Brown over low heat and remove crisp bits.
    Make tiny meatballs from mixture above (1 to 1 1/2-inch diameter).
    Brown in salt pork fat.
    When brown on all sides, remove to bowl.
    Rub flour into drippings and cook.
    Add water and salt for gravy.
    Return meatballs and pour bits to gravy and simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
