Chicken-Liver Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. green onions, thinly sliced
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. yogurt or light sour cream
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 lb. chicken livers, cut into pieces
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    In skillet, saute onions and garlic in butter until lightly browned.
    Add livers and cook 3 to 5 minutes or until juices no longer flow.
    In food processor, puree liver mixture until smooth. In a large bowl, beat remaining ingredients.
    Stir in liver puree (mixture will be thin).
    Turn into greased 7 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan.
    Cover with foil.
    Bake for 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
    Cool, then chill thoroughly in pan.
    To serve, run knife around edge and unmold. Slice 1/2 inch thick.
    Makes 14 slices (108 calories per slice).
