Corn Pone Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. shortening
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 c. tomatoes
    1 can red kidney beans
Preparation
    Saute onions in shortening; add beef and brown.
    Add other ingredients and cover.
    Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Pour mixture into greased baking dish and cover with 1 cup corn bread batter or 1 envelope of corn bread mix.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until brown.
