Eggplant Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium eggplant
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 small onion, minced
    1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    pepper to taste
    1 c. crushed Waverly cracker crumbs
    2 eggs, separated and both yolk and white well beaten
    1 large size Underwood deviled ham
Preparation
    Cook eggplant in salted water until tender.
