Ripe Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 lb. ripe cucumbers
    1 Tbsp. allspice
    1 Tbsp. cloves
    2 lb. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. salt
    dash cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Peel, cut up and remove seeds from cukes.
    Boil all ingredients in 1-quart of vinegar until cukes are tender.
    Makes 8 pints of very sweet pickles.
