Creme Brulee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. (20 oz.) heavy whipping cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    4 egg yolks
    4 oz. sugar
Preparation
    Put the cream into a heatproof bowl over a pan of hot water and heat gently (do not boil).
    Beat the egg yolks with 2 ounces sugar.
    Stir in the cream.
    Divide the custard equally between 6 ramekins.
    Stand dishes in a roasting pan containing enough hot water to come halfway up the sides of the dishes.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until set.
    Remove from the pan and allow to cool, then chill overnight.
