Banana Bread 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. soft shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2/3 c. mashed bananas
    3 Tbsp. sour milk or buttermilk
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Beat in egg.
    Stir in bananas and milk.
    Sift together dry ingredients and add to first mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in a 4 1/2 x 8 1/2-inch pan or 2 (3 x 7-inch) pans, baking time accordingly.
