Mashed Potato Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. mashed potatoes
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cream together sugar, butter and eggs.
    Add mashed potatoes, milk, water and vanilla.
    Then add dry ingredients.
    Roll on floured surface and cut with doughnut cutter.
    Deep fry in vegetable oil or shortening until golden brown.
    Coat with sugar, cinnamon, powdered sugar or frosting.
