Apple Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. dry bread crumbs
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
dash of ground nutmeg
2 Tbsp. butter
2 beaten eggs
2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
Preparation

In a buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish, layer half of dry bread crumbs.
Combine applesauce, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Spread applesauce mixture over bread crumbs.
Layer remaining bread crumbs on top.
Dot with butter.
Combine eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and salt.
Pour over bread mixture.
Lightly sprinkle cinnamon over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
