Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 stick margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt; set aside.
    Cream together shortening, margarine, sugar and eggs.
    Gradually add flour mixture to creamed mixture.
    Combine sugar and cinnamon in shallow dish.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar and cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
    These cookies puff up at first, then flatten out.
