Rice Shrimp Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. water
    1 28 oz. can tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. rice, uncooked
    2 c. water
    16 oz. peeled shrimp, frozen
Preparation
    Combine onion, green pepper, 1/4 cup water and bring to boil. Simmer 3 minutes.
    Cut up tomatoes and add (juice and all) to the ingredients along with garlic, paprika and pepper.
    Add rice, 2 cups water and shrimp.
    Bring to a boil and simmer 15 to 20 minutes until rice is cooked.
